The neighborhood of Carmen de Las Torres de Cotillas concluded on Sunday night July 14 its patronal festivities this year.
As is tradition, the last act of the festive program was the procession with the image of the Virgin of Carmen through the streets of the neighborhood.
A parade that was accompanied by the local music band and chaired by the Torreño mayor, Joaquín Vela Fernández, and that as an aperitif had a mass officiated by the parish priest Ismael Sánchez.
A day yesterday that mid-morning had the celebration of a rociera pilgrimage, prelude to a busy appetizer in which the neighbors of the neighborhood of Carmen enjoyed a good time of conviviality and cuisine.
A very complete program
These celebrations began last Thursday, July 11 with a varied evening, in which the central dish was the election of their queens.
Three girls - Inés Ennaji Sadiki, Yadira Giménez Gil and Alina Leppenen - were the chosen ones as the representatives of these celebrations and they were imposed the corresponding band that during these days they will wear.
In addition, the attendees were able to enjoy different choreographies, raffles, a tasting of monas with chocolate and a zumba master class taught by Rebeca Amalia.
The next day, Friday, July 12, activities began mid-morning with a parade on a bicycle, whose participants were invited to ice cream to combat the heat.
A day in which the program counted on a very complete night: night of the embers, discomóvil and party of the foam.
A petanque contest opened the activities on Saturday, July 12, which continued at the neighborhood bar at noon with a proposal for tapas for 2 euros (beer and tapa) and a children's party in the neighborhood park with mats.
Arrival the last hour of the day three appointments were celebrated: a floral offering in the neighborhood center, the night of the crumbs and a musical performance and show of the great showman Jose Damián.
