The Constitution Park already has a new playground adapted for children with functional diversity.
This space, which is the second of the municipality after the one installed in the Rabal park, is a project chosen by the residents who participated in the participatory budgeting process of the municipality.
"This area is contiguous with the games already existing in the park and its construction has had a budget close to 29,000 euros," says Torreño mayor Joaquin Vela Fernandez.
The action consisted initially in the preparation of the land, the concreting of the surface and the perimeter fence of the playground.
Subsequently, we have proceeded to the installation of a children's game, an adapted mixed swing, four concrete benches, sports fiber artificial turf throughout the area and the corresponding signage.
"It is essential to integrate all members of society in the day to day of our town and we must work for it, with this children's area of ​​adapted games we offer a suitable leisure space for children with functional diversity", highlights the first mayor Torreño
