The Virgen del Carmen received a warm and emotional tribute from the residents of La Loma de Las Torres de Cotillas on the night of Tuesday, July 16, the day of her name day.
The event, promoted by the Department of Districts and Districts, took place in the hermitage of the hamlet Torrena and featured music and folk dances from the local club Rincón Pulpitero.
"This beautiful act concluded with a tasting of fritters and chocolate for everyone present," says the councilor of the area, Maria de los Angeles Fernandez Fernandez, who shared with the audience the love for the Virgin of Carmen.
"With initiatives like this the City wants to revitalize social and cultural activity in neighborhoods and districts," says the mayor.
