Agents of the Local Police and Civil Protection of Las Torres de Cotillas have given lectures on road education to children attending the summer family conciliation school of the municipality.
This proposal, organized by the Department of Equality and which has the participation of 245 children aged 3 to 12 years, welcomed these talks that gathered various aspects: from the importance of crossing the crosswalk by shaking hands with a senior and respect traffic lights to the point of putting on the seat belt and helmet and remind who to forget.
"They were also stressed that they should play in the parks, not outside them, teachings of all of these talks focused on avoiding traffic accidents," said the Councilor for Citizen Security and Citizen Protection, Francisco José Caravaca Bravo.
This summer school is held during the months of July and August at CEIP Cervantes, has a large schedule from 7.30 to 16 hours and offers dining service.
This is a public service from which 157 families benefit this year and is co-financed by the City of Las Torres de Cotillas and the Ministry of Family and Equality (with 80% financing from the European Social Fund), as well as for the payment of fees of the users of the service.
