The local security board of Las Torres de Cotillas, chaired by Mayor Joaquín Vela Fernández, met a few days ago at the Local Security Center to discuss the various aspects that concern him in the municipality.
"The main issues that were addressed responded to security problems in neighborhoods and districts, especially in Carmen and Los Vicentes," explains the Councilor for Citizen Security, Francisco José Caravaca Bravo, also present at this meeting that also served as a presentation officer of the new municipal representatives.
José Luis Herreros, representative of the Government delegation also participated in this work meeting;
Alfonso Ayuso, from the General Directorate of Emergencies;
Antonio Bonillo, of the Firefighting and Rescue Consortium;
Juan Arnaldos, chief officer of the Local Police;
Manolo Fernández, Civil Protection coordinator in the municipality;
and the lieutenant and sergeant of the Civil Guard post in Las Torres de Cotillas.
"With the information that we have been transferred, we will proceed to reinforce surveillance in these neighborhoods and in the municipality as a whole, because the safety of our citizens is one of our primary objectives," said the mayor.

In addition, in this meeting the special security device planned for the holidays was discussed, which will be held between the next August 23 and September 1.
"The coordination of all bodies is essential on days like these, where such high levels of citizen concentration occur," says the mayor.
