The municipal petanque tracks San Jorge de Las Torres de Cotillas were the scene last Saturday, August 17 of the first edition of the National Night Marathon and Coexistence of the municipality.
Organized by the Uroboros club in collaboration with the Department of Health and Sports, it brought together more than 120 players from all over the country to enjoy this attractive sporting event.
The tournament was attended by petanquistas from places like Barcelona, ​​Madrid, Valencia or Andalusia, in addition to the Murcia region, which accounted for 60% of the participants.
"The good atmosphere among the athletes was the most significant note and from the City Council we want to congratulate the club for thinking and developing such an event of such magnitude," said the councilwoman of the area, Alberta Martínez Vázquez, who did not want to miss this event.
