The Torrena archer Monica Puche has added a new title of champion of Spain to her extensive medal winners.
The last national gold medal was won last July in the Spanish 3D championship, played at the archers club in Madrid (El Molar).
Puche, belonging to the Rincón del Águila club, won the Rosa Miñano and the Andalusian Mª Luz Carrión in the category of bare arc.
In addition, the torreña participated in the bronze achieved in the team category of the Murcia team, which accompanied on the podium Castilla-León (champions) and Andalusia.
"It is a pride for Las Torres de Cotillas to have an athlete of this level, it is an example to follow for everyone, especially for the little ones," highlights the Councilor for Health and Sport, Alberta Martínez Vázquez, who remembers that despite the fact that Monica started late to practice this sport "her commitment, performance and quality are spectacular."
In other editions, the Torreña shooter has been Spain's champion in the open-air bare arch, as well as the national runner-up in the naked arch in the 3D room and the bronze in the open-air 3D naked arch, both individually and with the Murcia team.
