The City Council of Las Torres de Cotillas launches the project "Counting and speaking I will co-educate you", which proposes gender equality coeducational sessions for schoolchildren from 1st to 4th year of ESO in the municipality.
"We will start in October, it will last until May and the sessions will take place throughout the Primary cycle of local schools and institutes," explains the area councilor, María del Mar Ruiz Rosillo.
The contents of this project, which is based on sessions of coeducational games, storytelling and other activities, are adapted to the ages of the participants.
"The idea is to show them the sexist and discriminatory stereotypes visible towards the figure of women who occur in our society, so that from a young age they can form a critical posture that helps to end these attitudes," says the mayor.
