The Department of Social Services and Seniors of Las Torres de Cotillas has held the first edition of the free courses on new technologies aimed at older people and will have several editions this year.
This first course had two morning sessions held on September 24 and 25 in the computer room of the Pedro Serna House of Culture.
"The main objective is for students to make contact with the world of new technologies and learn to surf the Internet in a way that can be useful," said the councilor for the area, María del Mar Ruiz Rosillo.
The training took a total of four hours in which participants could learn other digital utilities, such as handling the mobile phone or requesting an appointment in public organizations.
"These courses, chosen in participatory budgets, have limited places, others will be held in October and November, and interested persons should go to the Municipal Social Services Center or call 968.624.220 and 968.624.125," indicates the mayor.
