As every year on October 24, the world library day is commemorated and in Las Torres de Cotillas municipal activities have been scheduled throughout the month on the occasion of this celebration.
Among them, the Rosa Contreras municipal library, in collaboration with the Department of Culture, proposes visits to the local teaching centers whose main objective is to promote their use.
Aimed at Primary and 1st ESO students, these actions aim to attract users to these municipal facilities and encourage a taste for reading.
The centers participating in this initiative are the Monteazahar, El Parque, Cervantes, Vista Alegre, Joaquín Cantero, Valentín Buendía, San José, Divino Maestro and Susarte schools, and the IES Salvador Sandoval and La Florida
More activities
On October 23 (17 hours) the next session of the children's storytelling that the municipal library proposes in its children's room will take place.
Directed by the monitor Miriam Oller and with an approximate duration of 30 minutes, as always at its conclusion a plastic activity will take place as a family.
In addition, the reading club will meet on Wednesday, October 16 and 30, while on Friday, October 25 (5 pm), an activity for the whole family of outdoor reading will be held in the Constitution Park.
