Its main objective was the catering establishments
The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed the operation 'Alcasisao', framed in the 'Plan Improvement Security Sector Commerce', which has resulted in the identification, location and detention of a young man as alleged author of a dozen thefts in shops of Los Alcazares.
The proceedings began last summer, when the Civil Guard detected the commission of several robberies in commercial establishments in Los Alcázares, so the corresponding operation was opened to clarify the facts, which had caused social alarm among the population and especially among the members of the commerce sector.
The first steps of the operation were carried out in the buildings that had been subject to theft, in which exhaustive technical-ocular inspections were carried out in order to collect all possible evidence on how to materialize the criminal acts.
Investigators were able to verify that robberies were committed using force against some of their accesses, once inside the property, to subtract mainly cash and easily transportable objects, such as small appliances and drinks.
The criminal act was committed in an agile way and lasted only a few minutes.
As a result of the investigations carried out, the civil guards oriented the main line of investigation towards an individual, resident in the town of Alcazar, who could be, presumably, after the authorship of the criminal acts investigated.
He made a previous study of the premises
The goal was to steal in bars and restaurants.
The criminal acts were committed in the night time slot coinciding with the closing periods of the establishments.
Apparently, the now arrested man was thoroughly studying the premises, their access and possible escape routes to avoid being arrested.
For this, he previously visited the establishments, even making drinks in them to plan robberies.
Once the viability of the commission of the theft for its infrastructure was determined, it studied the schedules, routines and movements of the owners of the premises, in order to carry out their actions in the safest way possible.
Once all the necessary evidence was obtained, the Civil Guard established a search device on the suspect who has culminated in his location and detention as the alleged perpetrator of the crimes of robbery with force and damage.
In the operation, which is still open, the Civil Guard has clarified so far a dozen robberies, not ruling out the involvement of the now arrested in more criminal acts, as well as the participation of more people in them.
The Spanish detainee, 27 years old and resident in Los Alcázares, together with the proceedings, has been made available to the Court of Instruction of San Javier (Murcia).
