The Constitution Park of Las Torres de Cotillas was the scene on Friday afternoon, October 25, of the central celebration event in the municipality of World Library Day.
A free day outdoors for the whole family, organized by the Rosa Contreras municipal library in collaboration with the Department of Culture, where its focus was the promotion of reading.
Fun activities were proposed for children and adults, such as a workshop for the preparation of book separators, readings ...
In addition, to commemorate this date, the Torreña Library has organized several visits to the local teaching centers whose main objective is to promote its use.
Aimed at Primary and 1st ESO students, these actions seek to attract users to these municipal facilities and encourage a taste for reading.
The centers participating in this initiative are the Monteazahar, El Parque, Cervantes, Vista Alegre, Joaquín Cantero, Valentín Buendía, San José, Divino Maestro and Susarte schools, and the IES Salvador Sandoval and La Florida.
Also, last Wednesday, October 23, a new session of the children's storytelling that the municipal library proposes in its children's room took place.
Directed by the monitor Miriam Oller and with a duration of half an hour, as always at its conclusion a plastic activity was carried out in family.
