The Police Tutor of Las Torres de Cotillas has given a series of talks at the Monte Azahar school in the municipality, in collaboration with the direction of the educational center.
One of the topics discussed has been the consequences, according to the data protection law, of illegitimate recordings.
"In a social context in which we can all record a video at any time from our mobile phones it is important that our young people know the responsibility they can have in their recording and dissemination," explains the Councilor for Public Safety, Francisco José Caravaca Bravo.
Aimed at the 120 students of 1st, 2nd and 3rd ESO, these sessions taught during school hours also informed young people about the legal aspects related to the omission of the duty of relief.
The Police Tutor's main objective is to offer a specialized police response to the problems that children may have in the school and family environment, through multidisciplinary solutions.
Among its activities, lectures in schools have a specific weight, which addresses issues such as bullying prevention or bullying or road education.
