The City Council of Las Torres de Cotillas had just completed the second phase of the works to improve accessibility in the surroundings of the 'Vista Alegre' school, located in the Carmendel district of the municipality, after a first phase in which two pedestrian itineraries of Access to the school that communicates with the urban area of ​​La Florida and with the street AntónTobaloy Las Parcelas, leaving the road with a single sense for the vehicles, now this project is completed that completes the adaptation of the environment.
"The street that runs ahead of the center has been conditioned, where the asphalt and the existing road signs have been renovated, and both sidewalk sections and duly delimited parking areas have been created," explains the mayor of Madrid, Joaquín Vela Fernández , which has visited the area today, Thursday, November 14 and has informed that this phase has been carried out entirely with municipal funds.
"This complete project provides the educational community of 'Vista Alegre' with complete pedestrian routes to access it without architectural or urban barriers, improving the safety of students, center staff and family," highlights the Councilor for Education, Rafael Martínez García .
