The Department of Equality of Las Torres de Cotillas faces the final stretch of its program of activities to commemorate the international day against gender violence, set every year on the calendar on November 25.
Tomorrow, Sunday, November 24, the march against gender violence in the municipality will be in its fifth edition, whose collection - the sale of each number will be 2 euros - will benefit the association 'I want to grow'.
A day designed for the whole family where, in addition to a walking route through the streets of Torreñas leaving from the Parque de la Constitución at 11:30 am, there will be various children's activities (from 10 am to 2 pm in the park itself), as mats, song sets, face painting or games, an exhibition of female self-defense, raffles ...
In addition, on Friday night, November 22, the Autopía Collective represented the play 'Put yourself in my place' in the Casa de la Cultura 'Pedro Serna'.
A family play designed to raise awareness against gender-based violence, which had free admission to the Torreño municipal area.
To conclude, on Monday, November 25 - concrete date of commemoration of the international day against gender-based violence - an act of awareness will be held in Adolfo Suarez Square, at the gates of the City Hall.
At 12 noon the mayor will read a manifesto, in an appointment to which the entire population is invited.
