With the motto 'Recycle, imagine and live your most special Christmas' the association 'Stravadanza' proposes to live these holidays in Las Torres de Cotillas promoting respect for the environment.
"A large ecological Christmas tree will be created in the old Town Hall square, which will be formed exclusively with recycled plastic bottles provided by the neighbors and will be inaugurated on December 8," explains the Councilor for Celebrations, Francisco José Caravaca Bravo, whose area collaborates in this initiative.
To collaborate in the second edition of this ecological Christmas tree, plastic bottles can be deposited at the collection points provided: City Hall, municipal sports center, sports center, schools, social center for the Elderly ... The containers must be in perfect condition, be 1.5 liters, round and transparent in color, and go without a label and with its cap.
"It is a wonderful way to enjoy Christmas, especially for children, joining this celebration with the awareness that throughout the year we work to promote respect for the environment," said Mayor Torreño, Joaquín Vela Fernández, who invites everyone the torreños to be "a little piece of that tree".
