Torreña Mónica Puche has been named the best regional goalkeeper of the 2019 season, an achievement that recognizes the 'Ramón Doval' trophy with which the Federation of Archery of the Region of Murcia (FTARM) has distinguished him.
"Monica is one of the best athletes in Las Torres de Cotillas and her spirit of sacrifice, commitment and quality is worth mentioning, especially when she started at an advanced age in the sport," highlights the mayor, Joaquín Vela Fernández, who recalls That this campaign, the Torreña shooter has won the gold in the 3D territorial championship, the silver in the outdoor league, the silver in the 3D league and the silver in the territorial hall.
The FTARM presented him with this award on November 23, in a gala where he also distinguished it with the high performance badge and the Murcia team.
"Monica is a regular of the regional and national podiums. In fact, her last outstanding achievement was achieved last July when she was proclaimed champion in the Spanish 3D championship, where she was also team bronze with the Murcia team," explains the mayor .
In other years, the Torreña shooter has been Spain's champion in the open-air bare arch, as well as the national runner-up in the naked arch in the 3D room and the bronze in the open-air 3D arc, both individually and with the Murcia team.
