The literary association Las Torres held on Friday November 29 a new appointment with the lyrics in the House of Culture 'Pedro Serna'.
With free admission and the usual collaboration of the Department of Culture, due to the proximity of All Saints' Day, the group of Las Torres de Cotillas focused the November edition of its traditional literary day on the vision that literature gives about death.
The members of the association read various poetic pieces and attendees could also enjoy the musical performance of Marina Cantero and Caty Cano.
In addition, Rafa Cánovas and Antonio Gracia - actors of the Tejuba amateur theater group - interpreted a fragment of 'Don Juan Tenorio' from Zorrilla and recited together a poem by the torreño trovero Manuel Reina entitled 'Do not kill her, love her', about the violence of gender.
This activity was well attended by the public and was chaired by the Councilor for Culture, Antonio Contreras Martínez, and the president of the association, the popular poet Salvador Sandoval.
