The paddle school of Las Torres de Cotillas, directed by José Alberto Zapata, organized a day of coexistence that counted as guests with members of the Bullas school.
It was on the morning of last Saturday, December 1, he had the collaboration of the Department of Health and Sports, and about 35 children aged between 8 and 16 participated.
"They were divided into two groups by ages, from 8 to 12 years old and from 12 to 16 years old, and they played a tournament with a format of all against all," says Alberta Councilwoman Martínez Vázquez, who attended this activity held on the slopes from the municipal sports center, which will soon see its artificial grass renewed.
At mid-morning, each participant was given a lunch to regain strength and continue enjoying this booming sport.
To close the day - which already has several editions - an awards ceremony was held with medals for the winners and sports equipment for all participants, in which the Councilor for Finance, Francisco Jesús López Manzanera also participated.

"This day was aimed at children playing with their classmates and other children of the other paddle school to promote social relationship, companionship, fair-play, respect, effort and fun," said Zapata, who He anticipates that in spring he hopes to celebrate another day, "increasing the number of participants since the children who play always want to repeat and just sleep the night before."
