The Department of Maintenance of the City of Las Torres de Cotillas has started work to repair a section of Labor Avenue, which was affected by the effects of the last DANA.
"These floods resulted in the collapse of a section of sidewalk affected by a restraint wall, which has left the sidewalk without pedestrian use," explains the mayor, Joaquín Vela Fernández, who sets the municipal heading for this repair at more than 17,000 euros.
"It is a road with a lot of truck traffic and currently pedestrians have to go through the road, which is a danger that we will solve as soon as possible," said Councilwoman María Ángeles Fernández Fernández.
The collapse of the sidewalk wall has also affected a telephone pole, for which repair has already been communicated to the affected company.
