The Department of Social Services of Las Torres de Cotillas organized on Monday, December 2, talks in the social center of the Carmen neighborhood that, on the occasion of the celebration of World AIDS Day, discussed sex education.
Taught by professionals from the Red Cross Murcia, these talks were free, they gave information and dissemination of different methods of prevention of sexually transmitted diseases, and in the morning he addressed the general public.
Already in the afternoon, the beneficiaries of this activity were the adolescents participating in the community work project of the Barrio del Carmen.
Co-financed by 80% by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the public operation program of Spain 2014-2020, this initiative is part of the line of action 07 "Urban regeneration plan and social and labor integration in disadvantaged areas . ", of thematic Objective 09" Promote equality, health and social inclusion "of the Strategy for Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development (EDUSI) 'Las Torres Conecta'.
"These actions in the Carmen neighborhood on different social issues are carried out to provide information and reach different sectors of the population, raising awareness, teaching, training ...", says the councilor, María del Mar Ruiz Rosillo, who indicates This talk was used to establish a synergy with EDUSI activities with adolescents.
