With the slogan 'Recycle, imagine and live your most special Christmas' the association 'Stravadanza', in collaboration with the Department of Celebrations, opened on Sunday December 8 a large ecological Christmas tree in the square of the old Town Hall.

This emotional act of environmental awareness was chaired by the Councilor for Urban Planning, Ecological Transition, Environment and Public Domain, Francisco Fernández Baño.

A tree formed exclusively with recycled plastic bottles of 1.5 liters, round format and transparent color, which have been provided by the neighbors at the collection points provided: City Hall, municipal sports center, sports center, schools, social center of the Seniors ... "It is a wonderful way to enjoy Christmas, especially for the little ones, joining this celebration with the awareness that throughout the year we work to promote respect for the environment," said Mayor Torreño, Joaquín Vela Fernández.
