The activities carried out by the City of Las Torres de Cotillas continue with children and adolescents in the Carmen district of the municipality.
The last one was an exit to the city of Murcia, which included a visit to the regional Archaeological Museum, with which the children acquired knowledge about the capital and about the history of our Region.
"In addition, they were able to know other environments other than the neighborhood and the municipality in which their day-to-day activities take place," explains the Councilor for Social Services, María del Mar Ruiz Rosillo.
These activities are part of the 80% community participation project by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the public operating program of Spain 2014-2020.
This initiative is part of the line of action 07 of the 'Urban regeneration plan and social and labor integration in disadvantaged areas' of thematic objective 09 'Promote equality, health and social inclusion' of the Strategy for Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development (EDUSI) 'Las Torres Conecta'.
