The municipal school cross of Las Torres de Cotillas will hold a new edition next Wednesday, December 18 (10:30 am) on the grounds of La Emisora, in which the participation of about 1,000 runners is expected.
As every year the test, organized by the Department of Health and Sport and which is part of the School Sports Program of the General Directorate of Sports, will be divided into categories divided into male and female modality, whose participants will cover different distances: fry ( 1,000 meters), children (1,000 meters and 2,000 meters), cadet and youth (2,000 meters).
The first three classified of each category will receive their medal, in an event in which the Las Torres Athletics Club, the local Civil Protection Corps and the students of the TSEAS of the IES Salvador Sandoval collaborate.
The delivery of medals and trophy-souvenir to the 12 participating centers will be at 12:30 pm.
"This is an exciting test for everyone, where we see our young people enjoying athletics in a day of coexistence that highlights the true essence of sport, which is to participate and have fun," explains Mayor Torreño, Joaquín Vela Fernández.
