The efficient coordination between the Local Police and the Civil Guard, which share the Local Security Center in Las Torres de Cotillas, is giving magnificent results in the municipality.
That is the main idea that has focused the local security board of the town that was held today, Thursday, December 19, with the assistance of the Government delegate, Francisco Jiménez, the mayor of Torreño, Joaquín Vela Fernández, and the Councilor for Security Citizen, Francisco José Caravaca Bravo.
"Las Torres de Cotillas is one of the municipalities with the lowest crime rate in the Region of Murcia, a fact that has even dropped this year that ends", highlights the mayor, who explains that this meeting has been put on the table the plan to end the last acts of vandalism that have occurred in the town.
"In recent times we have suffered the lack of citizenship of a few, who have attempted against public goods that belong to everyone," recalls Vela Fernández, who indicates that in this work "the Local Police also has the collaboration of the Guard Civil".
Brake on the illegal sale of alcohol
Likewise, the plan that will soon be put in place to stop the sale of alcohol to minors and outside the established hours in the establishments of the municipality has been discussed.
"It is a problem that we consider serious because it mainly affects our youth and we want to tackle it at the root, for which we are already putting the means to achieve it," said the councilor.
