The City of Las Torres de Cotillas has completed the repainting of the zebra crossings in the streets of all the educational centers of the municipality.
"It is a work aimed at strengthening road safety in the vicinity of schools and institutes, which daily receive the transit of the hundreds of people who make up their educational communities," explains the mayor, Joaquín Vela Fernández.
This action has been coordinated by the Department of City Maintenance and Education.
"Many of these zebra crossings were damaged by the traffic they endure throughout the year, so it was necessary to repaint them to ensure the passage of students and their families, as well as teachers," explains the first deputy mayor, María Ángeles Fernandez Fernandez
