These structures cover a total of 310 m2 in these three recreational spaces
The Department of Urban Planning, Ecological Transition, Environment and Public Domain of Las Torres de Cotillas has completed the installation works of awnings in the playgrounds of Paco Rabal Park, which are thus protected from prolonged sun exposure.
"These structures allow to cover with shade the three recreational spaces of the park, which have a total area of 310 m2," explains the mayor, Joaquín Vela Fernández, who visited these facilities yesterday.
The works have consisted of shoe formation, concrete candle post and installation of candles with Australian fabric, which have a guarantee against UV degradation.
These works, which have had a budget of 32,307 euros and have been carried out in a month and a half, contribute as a measure of adaptation to climate change included in the Action Plan for Climate and Sustainable Energy (PACES) of the municipality.
