01/16/19 The youth correspondents of the 2019/20 course of Las Torres de Cotillas work at full pace, a task in which they had a recent meeting with the Councilor for Youth, Antonio Contreras Martínez.
"We met to make an assessment of their work at this stage of the course and so that they could express their concerns, experiences and needs firsthand," explains the mayor.
María Campoy and Caridad Moreno of the IES LaFlorida, and Irene Muñoz and Yudith Marcos of the IES Salvador Sandoval are in charge of this program of the Directorate General of Youth during this course in their centers.
"This program under the Ministry of Tourism, Youth and Sports collects the concerns and preferences of young people, and informs them about their resources, cultural and educational offers, etc., all based on interpersonal communication between young people," explains the Councilor for Youth.
After attending last November in San Pedro del Pinatar to the initial meeting of the twelfth edition of this program, the torreña youth correspondents combine their studies with this program.
In it they also manage the 'Youth Information Point' through an information panel, as well as detect, collect and transmit the demands and needs of their peers.
