The Department of Maintenance of the City of Las Torres de Cotillas has performed in the neighborhood of La Florida to improve its road cleaning.
It has proceeded to the installation of 14 new wastebaskets in the environment, an action that has been charged to Urbaser, a concessionaire of public services for urban waste collection and street cleaning in the town.
"It was a request that had been transferred to us by the pediatrician, Encarni Ruiz, to improve the well-being of its neighbors and we have proceeded to solve it as quickly as possible," explains the councilor and first deputy mayor, María Ángeles Fernández Fernández.
"The cleanliness of our streets is an area in which we are placing special interest because it is the basis of a sustainable and environmentally friendly society," says Mayor Torreño, Joaquín Vela Fernández.
