Las Torres de Cotillas continues to work on its Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development Strategy (EDUSI) 'Las Torres Conecta'.
Therefore, last Wednesday, January 22, a municipal representation attended the meeting of the Greco-AGE Communication Network, in which agreements on communication measures regarding ERDF funds are adopted.
Held at the Ministry of Finance, this work meeting of the general state administration group serves to exchange experiences, receive instructions and be accountable for the actions related to the communication of these funds.
"Las Torres de Cotillas was evaluated in terms of the format and content of its website in terms of ERDF funds and complies 100% with the request", congratulates Mayor Torreño, Joaquín Vela Fernández, who recalls that "this is an example of transparent policy and close to the citizen ".
The Torreño municipality is currently developing the EDUSI 'Las Torres Conecta' financed by FEDER funds, which is based on four main axes: improve the use and quality of ICT, favor the transition to a low carbon economy, protect the environment and promote resource efficiency, and social inclusion and fight against poverty.
It has an aid from ERDF funds of 5 million euros, to which a municipal contribution of 1,250,000 euros will be added.
