The Red Cross has launched a course in auxiliary storage operations in Las Torres de Cotillas, in which it has the collaboration of the Department of Social Services.
This occupational training began on January 9 and the participants, who had to be registered in the National Youth Guarantee System, will be trained in two specialties: on the one hand, in the warehouse operations, with a total of 100 hours;
and, on the other, that of truck driver, with 25 hours.
Developed with the 'Pulse Employment' project, this course takes place in the morning at the municipal training center of La Media Legua, they have an assistance and childcare grant, and their practices will be carried out in companies in the municipality.
"In this program, financed by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the autonomous community of the Region of Murcia, 15 people from the municipalities of Vega Media and Campos del Río participate, 10 of them from Las Torres de Cotillas" , points the councilwoman María del Mar Ruiz Rosillo
The objective of this course is to improve the employability of young people under 30 years of age unemployed and at risk of social exclusion.
"The municipal center of Social Services refers to the Red Cross to young people with multiple social problems that require greater support in the intervention to achieve their process of insertion into the labor market," explains the mayor.
