The Emergency Coordination Center 1-1-2 Region of Murcia has received a call at 16: 01h warning of the fire declared in a sports center where there is a heated pool.
This center is located in Reyes Catolicos Avenue of Las Torres de Cotillas.
Two workers were in that center and have been able to leave without needing health care.
They report the existence of black smoke and strong smell of burnt plastic.

Units of the Firefighting and Rescue Consortium of the Region of Murcia belonging to the Molina de Segura Park (a total of five firefighters and sergeant in command as well as three vehicles "a headquarters vehicle and two light urban pumper trucks").
Firefighters report that the fire has been declared in the changing room area and has been caused by a hand dryer.

Firefighters terminate the fire and return to the park.
