The City of Las Torres de Cotillas, through the Department of Maintenance of the City, has launched the reinforcement of the firm on the road to La Rafa.
This road, which connects the extension of Juan Carlos I Avenue with the district of La Media Legua, presented numerous superficial irregularities that caused traffic discomfort.
"These problems forced a continuous patching of the surface, with the consequent cost, inconvenience in the service and inconvenience for users," explains Mayor Torreño, Joaquín Vela Fernández.
With a budget of more than 48,000 euros, it is planned to reinforce the firm consisting of a layer 5 centimeters thick of an asphalt agglomerate rolling layer.
"With these works we respond to the requests of the residents of the area, some work that also falls within our policy of improving the connections of the urban area with the districts," said the first deputy mayor, María Ángeles Fernández Fernández, who He recently visited the works where he could verify that only the painting work is missing to conclude.
