The party commission of the neighborhood of La Florida de Las Torres de Cotillas held a large meal together on Sunday, March 1, which was attended by more than 200 people.
An endearing meeting that was attended by the first deputy mayor, María Ángeles Fernández Fernández, and the general director of Competitiveness and Tourism Quality, María Esther Tenza Pérez.
"With the entrance of the meal, gifts donated by local merchants were raffled, such as a television, a ham and a weekend trip, to which we want to thank you for your generosity. The attendees had a great time and we all had a great time" , also points out the councilor of Barrios y Pedanías, who delivered with the general director of a plaque to the pediatrician, Encarni Ruiz Fernández, in recognition of the residents of the neighborhood for the creation and representation of the living Bethlehem of the municipality.
"Encarni is doing a great job, solving neighborhood problems, innovating with new activities and energizing his social life," said the deputy mayor.
In addition, during this meal it was announced that Consuelo Martinez Bravo will be in charge of proclaiming the upcoming parties of La Florida, which will be celebrated as is tradition during October in honor of the Virgin of Pilar.
"Consuelo will be a great preacher and has been unanimously chosen by the members of the festive commission," says the mayor.
