The esplanade where the weekly market of Las Torres de Cotillas is held will feature public toilets.
This location, which also hosts the fairgrounds during the festivities in August, supports large concentrations of citizens and the government team has designed this facility to improve the public service of the environment.
These toilets, located on Aguilar Street, will have a rectangular floor plan of about 24 m2 and they will be used to save water consumption measures, such as limiters in faucets and toilets cisterns.
"The market takes place two days every week and hundreds of buyers pass through their positions, and it is obligatory to offer them this public service where they can fulfill their needs and thus prevent them from using public roads, solving possible hygiene and public health problems that also they suppose extra expenses in the street cleaning ", explains the mayor Joaquín Vela Fernández, who indicates that the municipal investment will be of 43,500 euros.
