Next Saturday, March 7 (4:30 pm), the Murcian Nordic Walking League of the Mountaineering Federation of the Region of Murcia (FMRM) begins and will do so with the I Tec-Nordic Las Torres de Cotillas.

This initial test, organized by the Nordic Walking Murcia club, was presented yesterday, Wednesday, March 4, at an event chaired by Mayor Torreño Joaquín Vela Fernández.

Participants in this test will be received at 11 am at the Pedro Serna House of Culture and the awards ceremony is scheduled for 20 hours.

"For the first time in our region, a mixed Nordic walking test will be organized, combining a 7-kilometer race track and dirt track in the Emisora ​​Park, and a technical circuit of approximately 450 meters in the municipal field of natural grass, "explains the mayor, who wanted to thank the work of the staff of the Department of Health and Sports in collaboration with the organizers.

This test, which also collaborates with the Solidarity Smiles Association, is the first and only mixed that is included in the official calendar of the official FMRM 2020 league and will be valued with a 20% higher score for this championship.
