This is the participation of the Torreño athlete Ángel Salinas in the national veterans championships, in whose last edition a gold and two silvers have been hung.
The athlete of the Las Torres Athletics club was presented in the Malaga town of Antequera to participate in three tests of the XXXI edition of the Spanish master's championship 65 on the indoor track: 400 meters, where he was proclaimed champion with a mark of 1: 04.40;
and 60 and 200 meters smooth, where he was runner-up with 8.51 and 27.75 respectively.
"Angel is an example to follow for everyone, not only for the great results he achieves, but also for the joy and motivation with which he faces the sport," said Mayor Joaquín Vela Fernández, who recalls that in the Salinas medal winners numerous regional and national medals shine and even participations with the national jersey in European and world events.
