It has been a week since the PP of Las Torres de Cotillas requested the Mayor by telematic registration for a MEETING by videoconference to transmit the set of measures and aid that, in health, social and economic terms, our Party has designed for the recovery of the municipality against the impact of the Covid-19.
To date there has been NO response from the mayor to such request or express justification or by any other means on their part.
It is therefore an indifferent attitude of Joaquín Vela that is considered as a tacit rejection of the will of the PP Torreño to collaborate, in his responsibility as the legitimate representative of the main opposition party, to take forward the 21,471 residents of this town at the mercy of the effects of this pandemic.
-The mayor of Las Torres de Cotillas has NOT responded even today, to April 13, to the predisposition of the PP Torreño for that intercommunication that we ask him with the aim of providing solutions from responsibility, solidarity and being a transmission belt of the urgent and first-level demands of thousands of neighbors who have placed their trust in these "popular" initials.

The PP, with the petition to Joaquín Vela, proposes to provide the city council with measures to also determine the immediate future in vital aspects so that our municipality resumes its activity in a scenario of normality.
- Mr. Mayor, from the PP we do not want to interpret your unjustified silence to meet with us as a partisan position because now the essential thing is to work for the whole of Torrena citizenship.
- Mr. Mayor, we have before us an unbeatable opportunity, as a society that we are, as a municipality with prospects, to emerge stronger from this contingency of an unprecedented magnitude.
Depending on how we face these moments of uncertainty, the time and results of the long-awaited recovery will be seen.
- Mr. Mayor, how we contemplate the union and ability to manage the implementation of resources, efforts and measures will influence the achievement of the proposed goals.
- Mr. Mayor, in this task commitment and loyalty, the value of collaboration, exemplary and the need to respond to those neighbors whom we represent as depositaries of the common good, are important.
- Mr. Mayor, now it is more than ever to give the best of ourselves.
