Human greatness is demonstrated in the harshest circumstances and if it were necessary to draw a profile of the anonymous hero in this moment of truth in front of COVID-19, it is the one offered by the volunteers of Cáritas Parroquial de Las Torres de Cotillas, neighbors who are always in the front line to leave no one behind.
It is a job that has no limits or prejudices in terms of dedication, tenacity, commitment and social awareness. Because Cáritas Parroquial de Las Torres de Cotillas is dedicated to the maximum with about 270 families in need of the municipality who receive from this entity of volunteers a care of solidarity and dignity expressed in batches of food and basic consumer products distributed to face this social emergency and economic that comes with the pandemic that plagues our society. In recognition and collaboration with this solidarity task undertaken by Cáritas, the Popular Party of Las Torres de Cotillas has started a collection among its affiliates and sympathizers to collect voluntary economic contributions that will be donated to the parish collective for the acquisition of basic necessities not perishables to distribute among our most vulnerable neighbors in this time of pandemic.
