These special bodies have added their efforts to those of the concession companies of the urban solid waste collection (MSW) and street cleaning services, which daily focus on public spaces attached to public services, health centers, gas stations, supermarkets, banks , shops, pharmacies ... On this occasion, the work plan with the forest brigades has been expanded and include roads of industrial estates, parking lots, gas stations or the municipal cemetery. "This program is coordinated by the technical services of the City Council and has the disinterested contribution of the Herpa agricultural machinery company and several farmers in the town, whom we thank for their work," says Mayor Joaquin VelaFernández, who recalls that these works were performed as prevention to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
"But we especially emphasize that the most practical measures are social distancing and perfect personal hygiene, especially of the hands," says the mayor.
