| It will be tomorrow, Monday, May 18 and, among other measures, it must be reserved online, it will not be possible to play doubles and players must keep a distance of 2 meters or wear a mask | The City Council of Las Torres de Cotillas will reopen next Monday, May 18, the five tennis courts and the two paddle tennis courts of the municipal sports center, for which it will implement a strict protocol for health security.
"During this Saturday the municipal road cleaning concessionaire has rigorously disinfected these tracks and the common areas to be able to use them," explains Mayor Torreño, Joaquín Vela Fernández, who reports that a series have been established of rules to prevent the spread of COVID-19. There will be two basic rules in this opening during phase 1 of the plan for the transition to a new normal.
On the one hand, people with COVID-19 symptoms, those who are in home isolation for diagnosis of this disease or who are in home quarantine for having had close contact with someone with symptoms or diagnosed with this virus, may not use the facilities.
On the other hand, to use the slopes you must book online and to register in this online system, an appointment will be made by phone at 968.626.006, Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 14:30. Other measures The security protocol establishes that doubles cannot be played and only those who have a previous reservation will have access to the sports center - already wearing sportswear - and must leave the facilities at the end of their reserved hours (which will be one hour).
The hours of the sports facilities will be the usual: from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m.
to 1 p.m.
and from 5 to 11 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m.
to 1 p.m.
and from 4 to 8 p.m., and Sundays from 9 a.m.
to 1 p.m. To control the capacity of the sports center at all times there will be a single access, in Miguel Induráin street, where a clean area will be enabled.
Likewise, athletes must keep a safety distance of 2 meters or, failing that, wear a mask, and track changes will be made on one side of the net, players trying not to touch common elements. Users will follow other measures: the entrance doors to the slopes will be open during the match to prevent tampering; Locker rooms and shower areas will not be opened to users, only the toilets next to the canteen; and players will not be able to leave any material on the court after use, which will be closed for one hour for disinfection work.
