| It gives a period of two months for the works to begin, if not, it will proceed to execute them | The City Council of Las Torres de Cotillas will request the regional government to carry out the necessary works to provide shade for the patios of all public educational centers in the municipality.
"The arrangement of these centers is a regional competition and therefore we call on them to start the works within a maximum period of two months.
If they have not started by that date, this City Council will proceed to execute them," explains Mayor Torreño, Joaquín Fernández candle. This claim was approved at the ordinary municipal plenary session held on May 25, with the votes in favor of the government team and the abstention of the opposition groups.
"For many months of the year and due to the action of the sun, school children endure high temperatures in the schoolyards.
Providing a solution to this problem is a historic request of all AMPAs," says Education Councilor Rafael Martínez García. The objective is that these outdoor facilities are ready in all the centers of Las Torres de Cotillas in the shortest possible time.
"This government team has a firm commitment to the well-being of all its neighbors and the quality of the educational service is not only in the classrooms, but also outside them.
We will work so that our children can enjoy their activities abroad without fear for the sun, "says the first mayor.
