| "The PSOE-Citizens Government Team does not consider it urgent to launch this body designed to manage solutions for the recovery of the municipality against coronavirus "| The vote against the councilors of the PSOE-Citizens Government Team in the Ordinary Plenary held last Monday at the Las Torres de Cotillas City Council has stopped in its tracks the creation of the Special Commission of Covid-19 that the PP has been proposing since on April 7 when he first presented this initiative to the mayor within the framework of a set of solutions for the sanitary, social and economic recovery of the municipality and then, after receiving no response from the first mayor, repeatedly on the 28th and 30th of the same month . And now with a Motion to the Plenary in which the popular torreños asked for the implementation of this Special Commission of the Covid-19, which, being made up of all the political groups of the Local Corporation, has not been considered a priority by the socialist councilors and "oranges".

A decision of the PSOE-Citizens Government Team that has condemned the attic a vital and useful proposal to raise our neighbors in this critical situation.Because in the fight against the coronavirus there is no need to spare any will or means or collaboration.

That is why, in its work to make a municipality, from a constructive and responsible attitude and in its capacity as the main political force of the opposition, the PP will continue to demand the creation on an urgent basis of this Special Commission on Covid-19 in the that we can all join efforts and help face solutions that mitigate the effects of this crisis of magnitude hitherto unprecedented in our country.Because the crucial objective of the Special Commission that the PP advocates promoting is so that all the political groups of the Local Corporation can contribute adequate initiatives against the coronavirus for the group of Torreños.It is time to start this Commission because it forces the general emergency situation that we are going through.The PP of Las Torres de Cotillas proposes that this Special Commission, based on its composition and functioning in what is established in articles 69.3 and 70 of the Municipal Organic Regulation, has as its apex of its interdisciplinary powers the evaluation of the impact of Covid-19 on the locality, the monitoring of the measures adopted by the city council and other Administrations to combat this pandemic, the study, analysis, debate and management of the solutions that may serve - both now and in the stage after the end of the state of alarm and focused in its key strategy aim - to the recovery of the population, and the periodic rendering of accounts to the neighbors on the progress and results achieved in this regard and in the full exercise of full transparency.
