| It will have 25 hours, the collaboration of the Department of Education and Citizen Participation and will be held from September 9 to 11 at the Pedro Serna House of Culture | The Pedro Serna House of Culture of Las Torres de Cotillas will be the scene from September 9 to 11 of a 25-hour course, organized by the Universidad del Mar in collaboration with the Departments of Education and Citizen Participation, which will be titled "Citizen participation for the development of society".

The objective of this proposal is to offer the most up-to-date vision of the current state of citizen participation at both the regional and national levels.

The course is aimed at members of local and regional corporations, managing bodies, neighborhood associations, cultural associations, chambers of commerce, professional associations, business and union organizations, political parties, financial entities, students and the general public. "We are proud that they have chosen our municipality for a course on citizen participation, since it is a tool that we have very much in mind in our municipal management and that we use periodically for various consultations," says Mayor Torreño, Joaquín Vela Fernández.

With a maximum of 80 students, the price of the course is 85 euros for the general public and 65 euros for members of the University of Murcia (UMU) and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT). With the FMRM This course will also have the collaboration of the Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia (FMRM), its registration period ends on September 4 and will provide a CRAU credit to attendees.

"The activity will offer presentations by relevant actors and round tables presenting the most important novelties carried out by interested agents, both locally and autonomously," reports Councilor Rafael Martínez García.
