| The popular acts of the festivities in this neighborhood have been suspended as a security measure against the transmission of COVID-19 | The Plaza de la Ermita in the Torreño neighborhood of San Pedro was the setting for a small mass on Sunday 28 June on the occasion of its patron saint's day, which is celebrated today.
A small tribute on dates when their patron saint festivities should have been held, which - like the rest of the celebrations in the municipality this year - have been suspended for security due to the COVID-19 crisis. This solemn celebration was attended by the First Deputy Mayor, Marian Fernández Fernández, and the Councilor for Celebrations, Francisco José Caravaca Bravo.
"They have avoided doing acts that provoke crowds of people, such as their popular sardine or the traditional procession, but they wanted to maintain respect for the patron with this simple mass," says the mayor.
