2 years ago, the PP obtained 5 million euros from EDUSI European Funds for Las Torres de Cotillas for the development and modernization of the municipality.   The true, realistic and constructive policy, the one that gives results is the one that is made with a vision to endure, the one that sets itself the goal of meeting challenges, offering the society of the immediate tomorrow the guarantee of a better world than Today we have, in the context of a grsfyal improvement in pursuit of the development and modernization of a municipality like Las Torres de Cotillas in a healthy, sustainable, innovative key, with the result of forging healthier spaces and well-being for its neighbors.   With that philosophy 2 years ago, the PP in Las Torres de Cotillas, which has been continuously operating since 2003, the municipal government, managed to inject into the town one of the largest amounts of external financing known to our population in its history.

This is the 5 million euros that, as a subsidy, the European Union granted to Las Torres de Cotillas within the framework of the EDUSI Funds (Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development Strategy), which came to be a unique opportunity to improve various areas of activity of our municipality by influencing four axes of structuring the progress and future of the Torrena population:  -improve the use and quality of information and communication technologies (ICT) (implement electronic administration, develop actions to classify the city as "Smart City") and mobile applications and services that allow participation and interaction between the citizenship and the City Council), -favor the transition to a low carbon economy, protect the environment (development of sustainable urban mobility and connection with industrial areas, and the promotion of the use of renewable energy in municipal buildings and vehicles)   -and promote resource efficiency (the construction of an Intergenerational Social Center, as a primary initiative) and social inclusion and the fight against poverty (the implementation of a plan for the social integration of families in vulnerable situations, the regeneration of neighborhoods with needs like that of Carmen -with the renovation of infrastructures and public spaces and the activation of labor insertion programs for its inhabitants, mainly, which means the greatest boost given to this neighborhood in its half century of life-).   It is a package of initiatives to strengthen the future of the municipality, its economic progress and sustainability, definitive tools to create a higher quality of life, well-being and prosperity for citizens, which represents, in short, the establishment of new technologies in the offer of public services to the neighbors, in the entrepreneurial initiative, the enhancement of a human and natural heritage and the firm commitment to social integration.It is a highly reforming strategy that seeks, in summary, to take advantage of the new possibilities offered in different sectors of activity to strengthen the economic and social growth of an entrepreneurial municipality; to improve the living conditions of all its neighbors.EDUSI is one more step in that sensible commitment to the future generations that will inherit this planet.
