The Torres de Cotillas Socialist Party denounces the disloyalty of the Popular Party towards the municipal government team, formed by the PSOE-Citizens coalition, and, therefore, towards the residents of the municipality.

A disloyalty manifests from the beginning of the legislature. After a year since they lost the Municipal Government, the popular ones, far from working for the Torrena citizenship, continue dedicating themselves to trying to deceive and confuse the residents of the municipality through numerous publications and press releases in which they disseminate manipulated information , half, or directly false; thus discrediting the work of the mayor and the councilmen and councilors of the City Council.The popular group denounces that the government team has gagged the opposition, and that their initiatives are not approved.

Such statement is completely false, since all the proposals aimed at improving the quality of life in our municipality have been, and will be heard and approved, if appropriate.In fact, in the last plenary session in June, both the Socialist Party and the Citizens group voted in favor of a VOX motion, as it was a beneficial measure for the entire population.

Even so, it is curious that from the Popular Party they talk about exclusion, selfishness and not being up to it, after having voted against, in the recent municipal plenary sessions, measures such as speeding up the deadlines for cleaning the lots , or the streamlining of payment to suppliers of pending invoices (some of them even from his years in office).

The Torres de Cotillas People's Party has soon forgotten that during the sixteen years that they were governing in our municipality, they did so with their backs to the citizens and to the municipal opposition groups, without hearing or approving a single initiative from the Party.

Socialist, and favoring, as always, a few.

It is worth remembering the phrase that the former popular mayor, Domingo Coronado, uttered on several occasions: "I govern for those who have voted for me." The municipal government coalition, PSOE-Cs, in Las Torres de Cotillas is stronger than ever; 11 councilors who form a strong, united and solvent team to respond to Torrena citizens.
