| This action aims to correct numerous potholes in the pavement that need immediate improvement, mostly produced by the rains and the passage of the time | The City Council of Las Torres de Cotillas has undertaken the improvement of different streets of the municipality, both in the urban area, in districts and on access roads, "according to the needs detected by the inspection of public roads and the Local Police," he says.
María Ángeles Fernández Fernández, First Deputy Mayor Torreña. "The works include patching, compacting and cleaning the pavement, all with the aim of modernizing and renovating them." The mayor of the consistory explains that there are currently numerous potholes in the roadways of the streets, produced mostly by the rains and by the passage of time "in need of urgent improvement", as they can affect traffic safety. Mayor Torreño, Joaquín Vela Fernández, stresses that, "of course, all these improvements will be carried out by adopting all the pertinent safety and hygiene measures, appropriate to the situation we are experiencing due to the health alert", as well as with the measures necessary to regulate traffic while the works last. These have a total amount of around 12,500 euros, and will be carried out in various performances throughout this year during various phases.
In this first connection, the patching of almost 300 m2 is being carried out.
