| It contemplates the renewal of urban infrastructures in Isaac Albéniz and Pablo Neruda streets, and the reinforcement of the firm in Mula street | The 2020-21 Works and Services Plan (POS) for Las Torres de Cotillas will count with an item of more than 321,000 euros, which will be used for three projects.

"We are going to proceed with the reinforcement of the road surface on Mula Street, as well as the renovation of urban infrastructures on Isaac Albéniz and Pablo Neruda streets," explains Torreño mayor Joaquín Vela Fernández.

This plan will be divided into two annuities and each one will receive an amount close to 161,000 euros. The Isaac Albéniz street project will include the section between Velázquez and Bolivia streets and will have about 101,000 euros to carry out the scheduled works.

For its part, work on Pablo Neruda street -from Reyes Católicos avenue to Tirso de Molina square- will have a starting amount of almost 135,000 euros.

"In those areas, the sidewalks and the road are in very poor condition due to their age, so they are going to be completely renovated.

In addition, their PVC supply network will be replaced by another of polyethylene and the household connections will be renewed" , indicates the Councilor for Maintenance of the City and First Deputy Mayor, Marian Fernández Fernández.

Likewise,The horizontal and vertical traffic signaling will be renewed and the public lighting will be improved with seven lampposts with LED-type luminaires on each street. On Calle Mula Lastly, more than 134,000 euros will be earmarked for the reinforcement of the firm on Calle Mula - on the section between Calle Florentino Lapuente and the Glorieta de Linasa.

"It is a main road in the municipality whose road is very deteriorated due to heavy vehicle traffic that supports the adjacent industrial estates and the numerous ditches made to implement services," reports the mayor.

In addition, the placement of four speed reducing shoulders and the renewal of the horizontal and vertical signage of the affected streets are planned, works that have a maximum term of three months.
