| Organized under a strict anti-COVID protocol, it has lasted a month and the participating minors have enjoyed leisure and sports activities | On August 14, the "Concilia Ocio Verano 2020" program, organized by the Las Torres de Cotillas City Council for minors in the municipality, concluded at the "San José" school.

"It was a conciliation program for those families that did not have family or personal resources, and needed to reconcile their work and family life," says Torreño mayor, Joaquín Vela Fernández, who visited this proposal in July. From July 15, this program proposed leisure and sports activities to the attending boys and girls with all health guarantees in the face of the COVID-19 crisis.

"There have been professionals specialized in leisure and free time with minors, and at all times the hygienic-sanitary protocols created by the Department of Equality and ratified by the Department of Health have been complied with at all times," indicates Councilor María del Mar Ruiz Rosillo. "Where the minors have had the best time has been in outdoor sports activities and in the municipal swimming pool, one of the great strengths of the service provided this summer", highlights the mayor.

This program was a public service co-financed by the Torreño City Council and the Ministry of Women, Equality, LGTBI, Families and Social Policy, with 80% financing from the European Social Fund (ESF).
